Parent Runs for Heart Safe Nursery

A Life-saving Gift in Memory of Shivohn Watson
Shivohn, a young teen from Merseyside was at home earlier this year when she suddenly suffered from a cardiac arrest, Shivohn sadly died from heart failure despite having no previous illness or heart problems.
Quinton Barham Returns to the Pitch After Making Full Recovery From Cardiac Arrest
Teenager footballer Quinton Barham makes his return to the pitch for the first time this week, since suffering a cardiac arrest 6 months ago in February after scoring a hat-trick on the pitch at Bromham.
Luckily the away ground had a defibrillator at the clubhouse;CPR was administered seconds after his collapse, the defibrillator was then used on Quinton to shock his heart back into a regular rhythm. The young footballer was then rushed to Bristol Children's Hospital where he underwent major heart surgery and was kept in observation for a month.
Leigh Centurions and O2 host Fun Day for Hand on Heart Charity
On Sunday 4th August, Leigh Sport Village transformed into a band playing, fire breathing, bouncy castle jumping Fun Day before the big match between Leigh Centurions and Swinton Lions.

Thursday 1st of August saw the Raring2Go! Family Fun Day at Warrington Football Club, an event with lots going on from bouncy castles to a prize filled raffle– all with an aim to raise money for Hand on Heart Charity.
